Students that earn our Work Readiness Certificate are eligible to participate in a group called Cornerstones. In addition to receiving assistance with their personal goals, participants are introduced to decision makers from our network of employers who make presentations covering a range of topics relevant to entering the workforce and advancing to a living wage. These presentations provide a winning situation for everyone involved: (a) students are introduced to potential employers during the job search portion of their training and (b) employers are introduced to our students after they have completed our basic training unit and declared “work ready:”
